Register for Event
Lead presenter may choose between a complementary conference registration or a $30 honorarium for their workshop session. If you are choosing to receive a complementary conference registration please
click the link below and fill out a event registration form.
Your presentation’s date/time, location, room setup, and room capacity will be available online (TBA). Sessions will be scheduled at the Double Tree by Hilton Conference Area in Lawrence. Workshops will be one and a half hours long. There will be 4 scheduled on Friday, April 17 and 12 sessions scheduled on Saturday, April 18.
Plan your time carefully to allot an appropriate amount of time for your presentation, for questions, and for a discussion.
Start and end on time.
Address the subject matter immediately. Introductions should take only a few minutes.
Please make sure to speak clearly while presenting. If an attendee asks a question, repeat their question to help other attendees hear it clearly.
Avoid reading and lecturing to attendees, have fun!
Your meeting room will be used for other sessions throughout the day. Do not move any other furniture in the room. Please be considerate and leave the meeting room in a timely manner.
Presenters are responsible for covering the cost of their handouts and are encouraged to make photocopies in advance of their arrival at the Conference. The best way to determine how many handouts to bring is to base it on the capacity of the meeting room in which you are presenting.
CCPC will provide an LCD projector, screen, and table. Any additional AV equipment is at the presenter’s expense. This includes: Computer audio patch kits (needed if you have sound embedded in your PowerPoint/multimedia presentation), flip charts, laptops, internet, microphones, etc. Internet will be provided through the hotel. Login information will be given to you the day of the event.
Product Sales are not allowed in workshops
Presenters are not permitted to sell products before, during, or after their workshop at the event. Interested in purchasing a booth in our Exhibit Hall? Visit vendors and exhibits more information.
