Introducing CCPC's NEW

Regional Professional Development Program!

Registration is now open for our first Regional Professional Development Event!  To see all scheduled events, please visit the RPDP Events page.

CCPC is excited to introduce a new program designed to offer a wide variety of professional development opportunities to providers across the state.  Many of our members have expressed concern about meeting the new requirements for training hours, and we have been listening.  Our goal is not only to offer enough workshops to help providers meet the required hours, but also to inspire providers to reach for a higher level of professionalism and quality in their programs.

The Regional Professional Development Program will be organized into six regions as shown on the map below.  Each region will be represented by a CCPC board member who will organize training in that area.  The representative will assess the need for training and schedule dates and presenters to best fit the needs of the region.  A number of ambassadors will be recruited in each region to assist the regional representative.  CCPC is currently seeking ambassadors in each region.

If you are interested in bringing CCPC training events to your community, consider joining us as an Ambassador.  To learn more about becoming an Ambassador, please visit our RPDP Ambassador Page.

The workshops will consist of two 1.5 hour classes for a total of 3 clock hours, with an average of 6-9 hours offered in each region annually.  Combined with the nearly 10 hours received at CCPC's annual conference, this makes the sixteen hour requirement in 2020 easily attainable for providers.  The cost for these workshops will be $5 for members and $15 for non-members.

CCPC is proud to offer support to our members with this new program.  Check back soon to see dates and locations for trainings.  If you are interested in becoming an ambassador, please fill out an application and we'll contact you.
