Child Care Workforce Appreciation Bonus


A partnership between the Kansas Department for Children and Families, Child Care Aware of Kansas, and the Kansas Department for Health & Environment will soon bring one-time appreciation bonus payments of $750-$2500 to over 20,000 eligible child care staff (not just teachers and directors!) in Kansas. 

Eligible individuals must apply for the payment and verify information, and the application period for preschools is open now! Check out the application periods table below and find more guidance on the Child Care Aware of Kansas website
