Workshop Requirements

2 hours KDHE approved

Presentations must reflect developmentally appropriate practices as defined by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).

Proposal must be submitted online

Selling or advertising merchandise during sessions is strictly prohibited. KDHE stated policy is that presenters may not use their sessions as a forum for product sales. Presenters selling products may want to consider renting a booth in the Exhibit Hall’s Exhibit section.

Presentation Tips

Plan your time carefully to allot an appropriate amount of time for your presentation, for questions, and for a discussion.

Start and end on time

Address the subject matter immediately.

Introductions should take only a few minutes.

​

Please make sure to speak clearly while presenting. If an attendee asks a question, repeat their question to help other attendees hear it clearly. 

​

Avoid reading and lecturing to attendees, have fun!

Event Information

The CCPC Professional Development Event and Conference provides a powerful platform to network with over 100+ childcare professionals and to share knowledge, lessons learned, and best practices in the field. 

We also offer presenters the following:

• Valuable experience presenting at one of the best ECE state-level conferences.

• Networking opportunities with and visibility to 100+ ECE professionals.

• Each session will have a CCPC board member as a host to assist presenter during their workshop. 

• CCPC will take care of sending out workshop certificates. 

• If you must cancel your presentation, send an e-mail to ccpcconference@gmail.com.  Please include your name and  workshop title.  Cancellations are accepted from the Primary Presenter only
