2023 Provider of the Year
The Provider of the Year Award is presented annually at the
CCPC Professional Development Event & Conference.

Being selected as a Provider of the Year is not an easy task,
but a well-deserved award.

It begins by someone nominating a deserving provider.

Provider of the Year Award is open to CCPC members who have been KDHE Licensed or Group Licensed Family Child Care Providers for a minimum of 5 consecutive years. While CCPC values all early childhood educators, the Provider of the Year award is only open to home based family child care providers.
The Child Care Provider's Coalition of Kansas honors the Provider of the Year as the standard for excellence in our state. These providers exemplify the high level of quality in child care that CCPC promotes.
CCPC will conduct a compliance check from KDHE on each nominee who accepts their nomination.

After all Nominees are received, they are sent a self-assessment form and notebook to be completed and returned,
usually within a 6 to 8 week period.

After notebooks are judged by three competent judges selected outside of the CCPC board. The judges will judge providers solely on the information submitted (following a rubric of CCPC Standards for quality childcare), not on their personal knowledge of the provider.
All providers will then be sent a letter of thanks for participating and notifying them if they are a finalist.
The selected provider is then notified and will be presented with an award during the Virtual CCPC Professional Development Event and Conference in April.
Needless to say, a recipient of the Provider of the Year Award should feel greatly honored as it is a Great honor
and recognition of all the hard work they do.

Provider of the Year will receive a complimentary event registration to the CCPC Spring and Fall Events, a one year CCPC of Kansas membership and a award that is presented annually at the CCPC Professional Development Event and Conference.
