KANSAS FAMILY CHILD CARE WEEK CHAIR’S DUTIES

This week will be the third week of June each year. Since this is usually Father’s Day weekend and past activities haven’t been well received, we haven’t done this for several years. I’ve included it in duties in case CCPC decides to start it again.

1. Write a proclamation and have the Governor sign it.

2. Write articles for newsletter giving ideas of how to celebrate the week.

3. Keep a notebook or computer memory drive for the next Kansas Family Child Care week person.

4. Advertise and Promote knowledge of Kansas Family Child Care Week throughout the state. Identify various avenues to promote Family Child Care week statewide. This will include the CCPC membership as well as the non CCPC membership.
